| fair enough. If you break down the math, it doesn't come out that way, but he's still not dominating. Still gives up a lot of fly balls and doesn't last long in the games he's in. Plus, like i said, there's nothing dominating a pitcher that sits inactive for the majority of his career. |

| once again though that's an argument you can't fairly assess because he's never been healthy long enough to accurately determine the most dominant pitcher when he's healthy. |

| Apparently Houston Street is on the block too. When Beane goes into sale mode by god he goes into sale mode.

| the dodgers are interested in him and they sent a scout to go see him yesterday and the A's sent Street out to pitch yesterday with a 7 run lead, so i see a deal going through soon. Most likely Andy LaRoche will be the big player in this deal for the A's because the dodgers are showcasing him this series.

| there's so many good pitching prospects at just about every level of the A's organization right now, I'd be afraid to label anyone the best. Cahill is probably the most adaptable right now to the bigs, but Anderson is pretty filthy. Also, I'm a big fan of Italiano, even though he's struggling right now. Mazzaro is also looking very impressive in Midland right now. |

| and just for the record, the A's are officially tanking. 1 guy in double digits in home runs and no one with over 50 ribbies. Pathetic. Pitching can only go so far. Beane keeps acquiring great prospect pitchers, but he better find some regulars than can hit the freaking ball. |
