| Rick Ankiel
Wow, what a special guy. Of course we all know about his pitching career, he then comes back after an ACL last year and had 32 hr and 89 rbi in minor league this year. He's now hit 3 homers in just a handful of games with the Cardinals. What an inspiration. |

| This is crazy. I have been following his minor league progress through SI Mag.
He also had a great diving catch late in the game yesterday. This guy is finally getting some well deserved breaks. | |

| actually saw the guy play a game against the sounds about a month ago, if memory serves correct he went 3-4 with a home run, and made an incredible diving play in the outfield, he is certainly a talent. | |

| in all fairness, it was a jack, that's all that matters. the cubbies had gotten within one run and he ended it. he also nailed ryan theriot at third to possibly save a run. through nine games he's batting .313. pretty impressive stuff
