| The person this probably has the biggest impact on will be Andruw. He and Tex have the same agent, Andruw will become a FA at the end of the year, and Andruw really needs to up his game the remainder of the year to merit top dollar in the market.
I bet Andruw starts hitting a lot better with Tex in the lineup. |

| I guess my question would be why?? You give up your organizations two top prospects for a guy you don't have a chance of signing. For what? Another early exit from the playoffs....if you even make it that far. |

The point is...look at the Cards last year. They were middling throughout the whole year and finally put it together in the playoffs. This is an excellent deal that the Braves made.
Great move, great for the Braves, the NL is officially wide open. |
