Shame to start with bad news, but confirmed today: Brent Honeywell needs Tommy John. Had really dominated in the minors.

TINSTAAPP, but only 22 and hopefully he can bounce back.

Went to the Rays opener today in Pt. Charlotte. Nothing to post.

Will snap a few and post from LECOM tomorrow when the Pirates take on the Yankees.

Glad to see the Rays are getting a new stadium and out of that dreary dome

It should be -- after the strike in mid 1990s -- the Commish relished those HRs by steroid players to bring fans back -- it worked and the players paid the price

But like everyone is using the same ball. Technically no one is gaining a competitive advantage because it is the same ball for everyone. And I am a let the steroid users in guy.

White Sox's Matt Davidson on pace for 486 homers this season. That should be enough to edge out Judge for AL MVP.

Another cool note from @EliasSports - The last time before yesterday that the #Tigers gave up 13 runs at home on Opening Day was the first game in the history of the franchise! April 25, 1901.

For the record....

Yesterday's Cubs-Reds game was the first time in MLB history both starting pitchers were named Tyler.
