I will miss Vin Scully, simply one of the best of all time. His ability to call a game alone in the booth while weaving stories throughout the broadcast is unparalleled.

I listen to Vin this morning on the Dan Patrick show. On Oct 2, 1936 he went to his first baseball game (World Series game... Giants vs. Yankees at the Polo Grounds), he said he became a huge Giants fan. On Oct 2, 2016, he will broadcast his last game and it involves the Giants (vs. Dodgers). 80 years to the day after he went to his first game. Pretty cool.

Yeah, they were talking about that out here the other day, very cool. I am going to that game but will listen to Scully's broadcast. I need to go old school and find a transistor radio.
