| There is no reliable test for HGH. MLB apparently has a new crime-fighting unit; some details are in the article here.
Reportedly (by which I mean, they were talking about it on the radio today but I haven't seen anything in the AJC about it) Schafer had some kind of a meeting with his AA teammates to apologize. If true, that would pretty much confirm it. Regardless, between the fact that this investigation saw fit to charge him in the first place, and the sudden spike in power last year that made him appear on everyone's best-prospect lists out of nowhere -- yeah, Occam's Razor says that he probably did it. |

| Well, making a winning pitcher out of Redman doesn't surprise me. This Schafer deal does. Had no idea. I really hope Josh Anderson, Hernandez or Lillibridge get some good time in CF in the minors.
Soriano's injury really hurts (no pun intended). This bullpen was on shaky ground already, now take away the best reliever and you've got a recipe for disaster. |

| The Schafer incident is unfortunate and let's hope Kotsay can stay healthy in CF. Bullpen problems have been our main issue this year and I look for Hudson to pitch great tonight and he should feel some pressure to go deep into the game so the shaky bullpen won't blow his chance of a win |

| Today's game at Colorado has been postponed due to snow. Game rescheduled for June 16th, which was an off-day beteen interleague games out west.
The way the Braves have been playing, yet another postponement that comes at a very good time for this team. |

The upside to this is that maybe Moylan gets a shot at being the closer. I think he could actually do well in that role. The problem is getting to him. |

| I definitely think Moylan has the stuff to be a closer. But you're right, getting to Moylan has proven to be a tall task for this bullpen. That will help when Gonzalez gets back, but nobody else in that pen has shown they can be very dependable in middle relief. |
