| Good stuff.
Though I wanted a little more detail as to why the rocks are such a distraction.
It'd be curious to see how opposing pitchers in the AL West at Angels Stadium do compare to their home stats.

| Yeah, it'd be a small sample size of random pitchers who threw in day games at angels stadium.
If the ball blends in some with the rocks is why it's such a distraction. You might've known that and just wanted more. Not meaning to sound condescending. |

It could be completely random. It's an interesting study no doubt, but I would love to see more pitchers AND see how left handed hitters for the Angels and their home/road splits.
Let's take Bobby Abreu, who has been with the Halos since 2009:
2009
Home- .294/.392/.419
Away- .292/.387/.451
2010
Home- .271/.369/.471
Away- .239/.335/.408
2011
Home- .252/.374/.353
Away- .254/.332/.375
Now, we can say Abreu has a lot more games and can adjust, but there is no correlation for Abreu as a hitter.

| Yes, but it could be a few things combining to have an extreme outcome... 1) weaver is already good 2) weaver is already better at home and 3) the rocks + weaver's motion/release point is just a lethal combination. |

Go look at fangraphs.com and their pitch/fx. You'll get stuck looking at that stuff for hours.

| WWhat's your current major?
computer programming is a huge way to get into the field, too.
I am a huge advanced stats fanatic, but love the scouting side of things too. |

However, my dream is to become a MLB GM.
Let's just say I'm back and forth between my calling and my dream lol

| Haha I have dealt with the same thing, man. It's tough to figure it out. Luckily, both will be something you enjoy doing and be worth a damn to you. |

It's really funny. I absolutely hate and loathe math. But I love numbers. Odd combination.
