Just got a feeling c.c. will not be that great for that long.

Scratch my comment on Vlad. His ba was much higher than I first looked. Career .318 is better than when I googled and it said .273.

Which is crazy because he swung at almost everything.

I don't know. C.C. is still a top five pitcher in baseball. And has been that way for a while now.

He's still a very good season and a half from 200 wins.

And with his ERA, that should do it unless he falls off the map completely (which is possible with his weight).

Dear God, Vlad was amazing. Before he got injured in 2009 with the Angles, through 1998-2008, this was his season average

35 Homers
112 RBI
15 SB
35 two baggers

A line of .325/.392/.581
An OPS of .972 and OPS of 149+

No doubt HOF in my mind

45 two baggers

A line of .332/.432/.585

An OPS of 1.017 and OPS+ 144

It's impossible to handicap guys for the Hall mid career. It's a disservice to both the Hall and the player.

I, for some reason, didn't think his numbers were that good.

Here's what is going to kill Helton though in my mind:

Home: .355/.452/.623
Away: .292/.392/.481

Those are hard to ignore

If Roy, A-Rod, Pujols retired tomorrow they'd be in.
