Posted via VolNation Mobile | No doubt. I think Joe is a great catcher. He's better defensively than Mac (although Brian is underrated in this department) and the pure hitter/OBP guy. But Brian is a better run producer and power hitter, and also Mac has played been a steady rock of health. McCann also doesn't have the help of the DH, which Mauer has greatly benefited.
