| | Senior Member | Joe West Is A Blight On The Game. I'm watching that fat redneck piece of garbage act like a fool in the Rangers-A's game. He's supposed to be working first base, but he just took it upon himself to go break up a meeting on the mound. I guess there's some hayseed bar in his next town that has an early closing time and Cowboy Joe wants the game over. The fact MLB hired that piece of trash back after he walked off his job during the umpire strike proves baseball's executives are dumber than BP's. |

The home plate ump should have walked directly into the hospitality room and watched the rest of the game with a beer in hand. Posted via VolNation Mobile | The amazing thing was that the guy behind the plate was standing on the mound just staring at West. He didn't even acknowledge his "crew chief" telling people to hurry up so he could make Happy Hour at Bob's Country Bunker. |

| Who umped home for the Sox/Yanks yesterday?
I seen him look at his watch on more than one occasion, could be why he was calling anything close to the plate.

He is notorious for having a large zone. Especially when people like Ortiz attempt to show him up. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Joe West is a clown, but he's not quite to Teddy's level. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Either way, I seen him looking at his watch like he had somewhere to be afterwards.

Obviously he is talented because of the amount of postseason games he has been assigned. But I'd rather slam my hand with a hammer than say a good thing about Teddy. There's nothing I hate more in sports than the "look at me" garbage. Posted via VolNation Mobile |
