| | Senior Member | As usual, Ozzie telling the truth. MLB doesn't do anything to help Spanish speaking players in their dealings with the media, but they kiss Ichiro's scrawny ass and make sure reporters can't get within a 100 yards of him without his translator attached to his hip. That's just another example of MLB's shoddy treatment of Latin players. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| It is the truth, however the manner in which Ozzie delivers it is always amusing. |

It beats the Hell out of guys like Bud Selig and Sandy Alderson droning on and on without ever saying anything of substance and hiding from issues. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| He's certainly not afraid to give some good material for all of us to talk about. What he says is exactly right though. Tell someone who has to feed 9 other family members they could be Miguel Cabrera, you don't have to do much else to make sure that happens. They'll take anything. |

| Probably has something to do with the market that Ichiro and other Japanese players bring in comparison to guys from the Dominican or where have you.
Ozzie is spot on.

They made the right choice on who to follow... they could've really blown it and followed, say... the Astros or something. Job well done. |

Those are few and far between. Watching Kenny and Ozzie you get to see a full gamete of emotions. My favorite part is there are no secrets in that entire organization. If you're not going to cut it, you know it. You cause ripples, you're gone. |
