And Bob Carpenter seems... well he seems like a nice guy, gosh darnit. |

| there's not enough distance between Vin Scully and whoever they want to put at number 2. I hate the Dodgers, but listening to Scully call a baseball game is like no other moment in sports. He brings everything to life, even if you're just listening to him on the radio, you can see everything. He paints the perfect picture, tells only the best stories and puts you on the front row with a box of cracker jacks in your hand. |

| | Inquisitor of Offense | Cincinnati goes from second-worst to top five when Paul Keels is doing the play-by-play.
If you gave Keels a rulebook and a roster and said "You're doing a jai alai broadcast in an hour", he would do a tremendous job. |

When he retires, there will never be another like him. |

| Not a great list. I hate Remy. And it's not because I hate the Sox. I can be objective when it comes to things off the field and that guy is as bad as Hawk Harrelson.
He gone! |

| I had the honor of meeting and talking to Vin Scully last year. He could not be a nicer guy, which made me very happy b/c he is my all time favorite.
I would have been greatly disappointed if he had been a doucher. |

| He gets just plain angry. I'd maybe like to watch a game with him or argue with him, but after 50 or so games of him it is somewhat old. I'll take his fastball, though. |
