Pick the three All Stars

Player A: .305/.413/.567/.980 OPS with 20 HR, 60 RBI and is in second place in his division

Player B: .293/.349/.502/.851 OPS, 15 HR, 59 RBI and is in third place in his division

Player C: .312/.412/.572/.984 OPS, 19 HR, 57 RBI and is in first place in his division

Player D: .291/.386/.517/.903 OPS, 16 HR, 51 RBI and is in first place in his division

No names listed for obvious reasons, its not hard to figure out if you try though, but which of these three players should have made the all star team?

Edit: They all play the same position.

A is the Starter, C didn't make it. Ripoff, Charlie is trying to build a "real team" by putting Infante out there.

They really need to get rid of the "Now it really matters" BS. What a snub.

I don't know this to be fact, but this could be the first time ever that the National League leader in OPS didn't make the team.

Probably a reasonable assumption, usually being dominant offensively will do the trick.

I also have a hard time seeing why the players would vote Ortiz in rather than Youkilis.

Not B.

You hear Manuel's reasoning for picking Howard? "He's my guy."

Infante must be "his guy," too.

ESPN radio is now telling people to Vote for Votto. Charlie Manuel is going to have to bow to pressure or look like the biggest ****ing idiot in the history of baseball.

I like the Reds because I support all things anti-Cardinals, but you do realize quite a few pitchers have better numbers than Arthur Rhodes and he got in. Just to name a left-handed reliever, Hong-Chin Kuo or however you spell his name for the Dodgers, is better than Rhodes across the board. Not taking Votto isn't some grudge held against the Reds. Charlie Manual went to the World Series last year, he gets to pick his players.

I'm a Braves fan, and yes he's an idiot for picking Omar Infante. Votto will replace somebody and be on the team anyway. Besides, I think Mat Latos has just as big a gripe as Votto.

Mat Latos isn't the NLs' midseason MVP.

Holla at me when Kuo makes 33 straight appearances without giving up a run.
