It was a joke, but the point remains. If the perp has any sense he'd realize he's in more danger from the dude with a handgun than he is from the cop. Men don't take kindly to people damaging/stealing their stuff.

I don't know which is scarier though, a trained cop who knows and generally lives by the rules, or a some dude with a handgun stressing over a heathen getting fingerprints on his pride and joy.

A more fair comparison would be two years back, which was 6.0. Still higher than Sampson, but much closer. Assuming Sampson makes a similar jump as he moves into the RB1 role, he'll be an excellent back.
