Be honest how many good P5 programs would put up w avg 8 wins/yr for 25 years? Answer - zero. Iowa should be embarrassed they didn’t fire that boring boomer loser 15 years ago. No fan base in their right mind should put up with that level of mediocrity.

I expected a 7-5/8-4 type season. You don’t lose Hooker and Hyatt and get better. The WAY we lost to FL and Bammer is the most frustrating part of the season. Lose to Mizzou and GA.. whatever… but we should’ve beat Bammer and FL the way those games went. And that would’ve been a heck of a 10-2...

Manning has potential, but watching his HS film I wonder how much his last name played into his recruiting rankings/hype. The odds his career is in the same atmosphere as his uncles is low.

Chadwell has coached at D2 (Nat Champ), FCS (multi-10-win, playoffs) and Group5 (multi-11-win, currently 9-0) levels. Time to see if that success scales up 1 more. I think he’s a winner and he’ll do well.
