I agree. Makes me think of another player from Las Vegas, Dearica Hamby of the Las Vegas Aces, who won the 2019 WNBA 6th Woman of the Year. Hamby brought instant energy, points, and rebounds off the bench. She was fun to watch and was a big reason for the Aces’ success this season.
You are right, lvocd. Sources close to Holly say there was no soft landing for her by Fulmer, and that she was denied the opportunity to speak to the team. She is understandably emotional and angry and hopefully will release a statement soon. Regardless of your opinion of her coaching...
Right, Brassie. I agree on all counts. I have no delusions that Shea would ever come here. I simply meant that I would even take a coach from our arch enemy at this point. UConn will be in good hands with her in charge.
Never thought I would say this, but I would take Shea Ralph in a heartbeat. CPF was at the game sitting right behind the bench. Hard to believe even he couldn’t see this train wreck that has become our program.
Thanks for the great insights. Some of the best analysis I have read in this forum in a while. Hard skills are essential, but so so are intangibles like personality and team chemistry. This current LV team has more potential than we have seen in a while, and some of it is because of the...
I try and try to like Middleton, but it is hard. We have debated Holly's coaching, and I think this is a good example of coaching failure. Middleton should not be playing like she is still in high school. Why is she allowed to make the same mistakes over and over?
As an acute observer of all things Pat, I can tell you that she often wore a skirt to coach games. Always a tailored suit that fit to a tee with practical pumps. That is not Holly's style, although I can tell you personally that I have also seen Holly in a skirt in a social situation, but never...
