With a first year, first time head coach and players needing development while trying to learn an entirely new system I think 5-7 is being optimistic but I'm going with it.:)

These days most D1 schools have great facilities and use the same as the "best" in the nation or conference or whatever fits for recruiting purposes.

Nice of Coach Pruitt to say but Bama's facilities are second to none. Ours are very good but multiple championships buy many perks.

Does it really matter? Volnation will be trying to run the coach off in 3 years anyway regardless of whom it might be. This soap opera has only just begun.

Just as being a fan does not give you the ability to rationally judge a football coach or program?

Evidence would suggest that those of us in this discussion board have absolutely no clue what is actually occurring behind the scenes. According to my sources, anyway. LOL

About 10 years worth of embarrassing

I see many in our fan base still do not perceive the magnitude of the fiasco they have helped create.

UT is many years away from competing for championships. It is a ground up rebuilding project. WHEN and only IF the fan base can come to terms with this the program can proceed to improve.

Don't worry. I checked to make certain, but a diploma does not list the W/L record of the football team that particular year. Take a deep breath.:)

It's probably a good thing to occasionally cull the fan base of those with lollipop and rainbows expectations. See ya down the road when the hard work is done.
