I don't think it is reasonable to judge Milton based on the Vandy game . It was raining and Vandy sold out on the deep ball playing two deep safeties most of the game. Running the ball was the right call. Joe was 63% this season. We are comparing him to a 75% passer, not in a dink and dunk west...

Our front is not getting any pressure without a blitz. Offenses are now keeping enough blockers in to pick up the blitz. A good QB needs 2.5 seconds to be effective. Tonight, USEe has double that . The secondary may not be good , but any secondary cannot stay in coverage for 4 , 5. and 6 seconds.

I think the larger problem is the defensive line. No pressure from the down 4 . Give any QB in the SEC 10 seconds and they are going to complete passes on just about any secondary. This is not to say that our secondary is great, but our front is leaving them handing too long

Not completely , but much more impressed than I was against GSU 30-38 and Charlotte 14-3. This may be our most complete game since Chattanooga . We are not a complete team by any stretch but I did not expect us to be. We were a much improved team , which I had hoped we would be.

Milton gives us access to the D gaps and brings zone read and RPO to our game. With so much youth and a rehabilitating and rebuilding O line , this is a must have. Behind a solid group those aspects of the game may not be needed and Bailey could be a next level passer .
