Tennessee has the game vs Texas they also have the games vs Alabama, vs Auburn, At KY and at Auburn and probably the game At A&M Lots of chances for Tennessee to pick up some really good wins.

Yea seems like having those tough schedules are good for getting you into the tournament if your on the bubble……..but doesn’t matter as much when their looking at the top few seeds. I’ll take an easier road with some fewer losses (fingers crossed). Seems to work out for other teams.

Kansas does not look like a top tier team at all, to me right now (however I’m more like cheese wiz than a basketball wiz). They look more like a 3 seed at best (at the present).

January 23rd 2021 They wound up losing 5 of 7. That was the covid year……so it was strange for a lot of teams. Other than that (in a normal year) it was February 2013…….so a long time ago.

While “technically” it doesn’t matter right now……..it really does matter right now. Is Tennessee going to be a 1 seed come March? Heck we don’t know. However we do know teams currently around 1-10 have the best “chance” to gain a 1 seed. Teams outside the top 15 (currently) don’t have a good...

OK…….but it was “you” that mentioned Houston losing to a quad 3 team. However one must reason Kentucky’s quad 4 loss…….right? Kentucky has 1 Quad 1 win, but Houston has 3……….what does “conference” have to do with that?

To be fair Kentucky has a quad 4 loss and they’re 1-5 in quad 1. Houston has 3 quad 1 wins vs 1 loss and has the quad 3 loss.

No doubt……..Illinois jumping into the rankings at 13-6 with a win over Minnesota and a 15 point loss to Indiana. UConn at 19 while losing 5 of their past 7. Iowa ST is another good one…….they just got beat by OK-ST. We will see a more “realistic” ranking tomorrow.

Houston has great stats…….. however I wonder if their stats are boosted because of the league they play? don’t get me wrong, I know they’re a good team. However are their O stats slightly exaggerated and possibly their D stats as well because of who they play? I’d say at least a bit.

Purdue keeps escaping. I know winning close games is a trademark of a good team; however they have had 5 wins of 5 points or less vs teams that really aren’t that good.
