You are VERY correct they should have played. West dropped Fulton for the record. Fulton wanted the game to renew but West did not. Kind of a shame in my opinion.

I would bet $100 to a bag of baby wipes that CJG did NOT call Lyle. The guy is a GREAT salesman, he's constantly trying to make us believe he's the guy but thus far all he's done is sell he hasn't produced on the field. Pep Fulton has beat some bad teams no doubt. The kids can't help that they have beat bad teams, the kids don't get to set there own schedule, if the kids set the schedules some of these coaches would have heart attacks, b/c the kids like playing other good teams, some of these coaches are out...

I would agree that most on Fulton schedule had down years but how can they control that, some of those programs typically are solid not great but solid, Powell was coming off a 37-4 three year run (with several returning starters who would have thought they would have went 5-5), Farragut is 6-4...

NO one was as quick as DY so not good comparison. Hawkins is faster straight ahead than DY in high school. Hawkins doesn't touch ball a fraction of what DY did in high school.

Hawkins is playing WR in high school. He has excellent hands and speed. Good with ball in space too tough to tackle. UT totally missing evaluation here. Kid can flat play! Someone will get a steal. If the DI schools was always right in evaluations DII and DIII would never get anyone drafted to NFL.

Most underrated player in East Tenn. Plays at Knox Fulton watched him against Powell, Farragut and Central kid can FLAT ball. Not sure how a major college can't see how he could help them. He has crazy speed and VERY good with the ball in his hand. Doesn't look tall but who cares he makes big...

I doubt Maryville would be either. I would say every season they would be a favorite this year would be an interesting game but Maryville scared, nah.

Told a few college coaches last year (Spring 2012) about this kid NON listened to me and look where he is now. He had ZERO offers about him at the time I was telling the coaches. Not sure why UT hasn't offer yet, the kid is a STUD!

I was told by good (inside) source that UT VERY close to offering. Heard he had a great camp! Player was told by Jones himself "fix grades and we will offer you".

Cincinnati (Hinshaw) was in couple weeks ago I heard. Also, Louisville OC (Watson) and OL coach both attended Spring Practice at Fulton yesterday.

According to his facebook he visited Louisville over weekend and liked it a lot. Can't recall the exact quote but must have liked CCS there and also mentioned something to likes of "UL showed most love"...
