Yes I understand all of that. My point is that if the players sign in February, then we would either have to know who is going to greyshirt by then (and they wouldn't sign) or we would oversign the 25.

So by the new rule, we have to know in February how many and which recruits are going to greyshirt? Hubbs believes we are going to sign 23-25 but those numbers include Bullard and Tino.

Tino Thomas still signed with us in February. It wasn't until this week until the staff made that decision to have him be the one that greyshirted. All of these guys will sign an LOI in February.

How so? We have 16 committed and Tino Thomas counts towards this class. That gives us 17. At most we have is 8, but, if Bullard counts to this class, we have 7.

You do realize at this point last year we had Alan Posey, Tom Smith, and Christian Harris as our commits, right? How long will it take some Vol fans to realize CDD's style is a more slowly developing one at recruiting?

Depending on the schollys we potentially lose, we will sign the fullest class we can despite low numbers to give at this point.

They can greyshirt a few of them. Tino Thomas, for instance, could easily get academic scholarships to hold him over for the year until he joins the squad next year. A couple others have good enough academics for that route.

Orta could possibly be the other one because he recently injured his shoulder (may have had surgery). It's possible that all make it in and Orta and Thomas GS this year.
