I just run a flat 25 ft Ethernet cable along the wall. To hell with a $300 router. I do have a five or six year old Apple router I got on eBay for $75 that works just fine though in the room that’s furthest away.

A properly equipped sorcerer can nuke them easily, but I’ve never had an easy time with them solo besides that. They’re bastards, but at least they are pretty predictable after a while. I think a couple of the last areas and bosses, before the final boss, can be more annoying and frustrating...

Yeah, armor does very little to stop damage. I always go for a fast roll and a lightweight high stability shield for when I screw up.

Building is for taking the defensive or for mounting an offensive once you’re more acquainted. Getting the high ground in this game will carry you a long ways.

If you want to get anywhere solo then you’ll need to learn to build. Put it on “builder pro” in the settings. You can get by with just killing if you’ve got friends who can build, but I’d take time to land somewhere and learn. I usually go for kills, but it’s whatever. I’d rather go out mid game...
