Tee Martin receives UT HC endorsement from USC

There's an old saying that as a Black man or woman in America, one has to work twice as hard and be twice as good to get half the money/recognition/etc. I think that reality might be operative in this case.

Tee Martin receives UT HC endorsement from USC

Tee didn't lead USC to a national championship.

    Dobbs NFL aspirations

I could see him as kind of Eli Manning-esque personality wise: calm, cool, and collected. Not a world-beater, like Peyton or Brady, but with enough weapons around him, a winner.

    Butch Jones to Oregon-Basilio (debunked)

I don't want to hate on Butch, and I appreciate how far he's brought the program. That said, I'm really disappointed that this was just a rumor.

One NFL Scout Suggests JRM Should Come Back To Tennessee

Clay Matthews, by way of example, is apparently 6'3" 255. In my opinion, the linebacking position may be the biggest difference from college football to the NFL. NFL linebackers are a lot bigger, and just as fast. Kind of awe-inspiring/scary, to be honest.

Has Butch had his "Signature Win"

What's really tragic is that Dooley's last offensive line was head and shoulders above anything we've fielded since. We had a very solid offense in 2012 that was handicapped by the worst UT defense of the millennium, the exact opposite of some of the more harrowing seasons under Fulmer. :banghead2:

    I Formation (rumor)

Hellfahr, man, we got us a punter that weighs in at 248. Put him out there and let 'eem block somebody.

Incoming ad in regards to some coaches

What if we had a football-specific position, like a Director of Football Operations or something? I would really like to see Fulmer back in the operation in some capacity. Tired of AD's who are financiers; we need somebody who knows football.

The "Nega-Vol" Narrative After we Beat 'Bama

I won't care one iota what people on Volnation are saying after the game. Hence posting before because I'm dying with anticipation. Many of you are still overestimating how much this is a concern to me. I regret using the term "Nega-Vol" in the thread title, as I think it has become a polemical...

Comparing Alabama to Florida and Texas A&M

The transitive property does not apply, to be sure. The take-home point here, though, is that the Alabama football team is not, in fact, made up of gods, and Nick Saban is not, in fact, Quetzalcoatl. They can be beaten. We were within a touchdown last year, for goodness sake.

The "Nega-Vol" Narrative After we Beat 'Bama

:censored: :banghead2:  However, I think the notion of it being anything but a close game either way is absurd.

The "Nega-Vol" Narrative After we Beat 'Bama

Hey, folks, thanks for responding. I'm not going to lose any sleep over what people post in this forum. Just a small observation/prediction. :hi: Can't stop thinking about this darn game in one way or another, and I gotta get my thoughts out somehow! As for it being early to post this, don't...

The "Nega-Vol" Narrative After we Beat 'Bama

This is what you might call an "in before" thread. I think I have realized, in my ponderings of UT football, what the narrative of those who categorically dislike Butch Jones will be after we beat 'Bama. The level of cognitive dissonance that it would be necessary to accept in order to dismiss...
