Meh. Black jerseys are so 2008. Crazy painted fields are in. Black field! How awesome would that be - it would look like playing on blacktop! That would get everybody fired up, especially for a 2pm early-season game when it's nice and hot out!

As for win expectations, 8 wins was very realistic with UT's roster in August. If we didn't have Hunter or Bray get hurt, I still think we have that, probably more. The losses were that huge, especially with no depth and the most difficult SOS in the country. Take out any team's top receiver...

Well technically UT beat Vandy by 6 when GA beat them by 5, so I wouldn't go there. We both squeaked by, not really much room to talk trash from that angle.

I am still shocked at GA's ranking. With that cake schedule, they have only beaten one ranked team (that maybe shouldn't even be ranked), and they are #14? What are they the 6th best team in the SEC right now?

I don't disagree with that at all. Right now the NFL and NBA have it made with the current system. My point was that one way to address the issue was to just let these guys go pro and get paid if they are going pro anyway. If they want to choose college instead, that's even better. But I say...

The problem would most easily be solved by just letting people go pro right out of high school, or having minor leagues.
