I've done a bit of spoon and bowl carving and did a wood spirit once. Never used a Dremel for them though, just axes and gouges mostly.

We are in a 500 year steady advance in technology that may make it difficult for us to imagine a time when generation were less technologically advanced than their ancestors. Be it war,famine, disease, or natural disaster, there are many ways for civilization to collapse.

Just finished Dance of Dragons and halfway through the Dunk and Egg book. Planning on getting back to non-fiction after this with Barbara Tuchman's Guns of August.

Most of my non-fiction books are history/war related, with a growing concentration on the French Revolution.

That one actually sold already, but outside of the holiday season I don't really make a big effort to sell stuff. I'm a terrible marketer/salesman, I just enjoy making and creating.

It's a decent ebonizing solution for oak and other tannin rich woods. If you're using it on pine, which doesn't have many tannins, brew up a pot of strong tea and give it a wash coat with that first.

I grab what lumber I can when it's free or an incredible deal, but most of mine is green wood from storm damage/tree service.
