I now live in Missouri and follow Mizzou as my second team. Missouri was never going to hire Coach Martin. (Read St Louis Post Dispatch Sports Page) What big recruits? His Missouri State teams were average at best.

I now live in the southeast missouri area and have watched Missouri State all year. I do not believe Coach Martin will attract SEC talent, or be able to coach at the highest level. I hope I am wrong but I think this was a terrible mistake.

Ky will never beat the Vols and Randy Sanders still can't call plays that result in scores in Ney Stad.

about J. Crompton. I did not think he had the talent or mental toughness to suceed in the SEC. Great job of coaching by the new staff. Almost like Cutcliff remaking Ainge. I don't know what the future holds for him in football but being retired military I would welcome him into our brotherhood...

Not defending PF but injuries has depleted our defense. We would have had a very good defense if we could have stayed healthy but thats football.

Spurrier didn't coach 4 turnovers. Give the Vols defensive hitting the credit. Game could have been close.

said every game is 1/3rd offense, 1/3rd defense, and 1/3rd special teams. If you are going to lose one of them make sure it is not special teams. I attended a meeting where Bobby Bowden was the speaker and brought this up after the kicking game cost him two national championships.
