Yes, I agree regarding the refining process. I guess I meant to say that the multiplayer addition (and optional third person view) improve the game's status for me, but the more complex mining is too complicated.

The new update complicated the resource mining. You now have to gather resources and refine some of them to get the necessary ingredients to upgrade/refill gear. I've been playing multiplayer with my two boys and overall it's a nice improvement.

This is correct, at least it was as of last year. The CBS Sports app doesn't require a provider login. We use the Chromecast option to watch on our TV.
