This team is different. We’ve faced adversity in the past and succeeded. The confidence Knecht has will bleed over to our role players and his presence will give them open shots. Aidoo will play free and ZZ is going to shut down Braden Smith.

Yeah it really affects the inbounding (if they make the 2nd) more than anything else. It’s a lot easier to inbound off of a made basket(most of the time) than off a FT/dead ball situation
Not trying to say Oregon is a bad team- but it’s a higher floor vs higher ceiling type thing. My personal preference would be to play the team with the higher floor but lower ceiling but any team at this point is going to be a hard fought game
The way Creighton shoots there’s way more variance if we play them. If we played them 10 teams we might win 7/10 but the results could vary from blowing them out by 20 to getting blown out by 20.
Oregon is worse but in all likelihood is always going to make it a game
He just needs to fix his fouling problem. He gets 2 fouls in the 1st too often, and then has to spend the rest of the game playing soft. Part of that is the other teams going after him, but that could derail any type of run in the tournament
If we take care of business it won’t matter, but for NCAA seeding a lose to SC would look the worst out of the other options. And for that reason I would prefer any other team to be the 4.
They don’t use an exact S-Curve because of geography and rematch/same conference considerations. Like if Arizona is the last 1 and we’re the top 2 they wouldn’t send us to the west region and then that blows up the S-Curve.
32% from the field and 27% from 3 and only being down 7 is best case scenario. Hit some open shots and rebound down the stretch and the game is very much ours
If Joe runs the 40 well at the combine there’s a good chance some scouts show up to pro day and ask him to run drills for TE. And that puts him in a lose/lose situation
