Perhaps the availability of bibles during the formative periods of the denominations explains in part the differences in bible use of the two services. The Catholic church was founded 1000+ years before Gutenberg's press; the Baptist church 150 or so years after Gutenberg.
Yes, the Coulter quote is dumb. It also expressed LG's posts ITT practically word for word. He is more upset with a hypocritical adulterer who might have gone over his phone minutes than an alleged pedophile who flew on a a crony capitalist's jet.
I guess Coulter was right about something:
"The reason any conservatives failing is always major news is that it allows liberals to engage in their very favorite taunt: Hypocrisy! Hypocrisy is the only sin that really inflames them. Inasmuch as liberals have no morals, they can sit back...
Bingo. There is no need for RTW laws without the Wagner Act. The Taft-Hawley Act, which allows RTW laws in states, was written as a revision of Wagner.
Just bought Man, Economy and State with Power and Market by Rothbard as well as vM's Human Action. IIRC, MES was supposed to be a textbook about Human Action, but morphed into it's own book.
Be a few weeks before I can start on them though.
Harvard raised their Latin honors requirements in 1999, well after Obama graduated. Grade inflation was awarding honors to 76% of law students. Obama could have been a 'C' student for all we know.
Ole Miss is trying to overcome it's past e.g. Black Bear mascot, no Dixie, no confederate flags at games. They have their 1st AA homecoming queen this year.

Both parties have dug the financial hole we're in now. We, as citizens and voters, share responsibility in this.
Are the problems the parties created beyond their ability to fix?
Hmm, got the de Tocqueville attrib from Goodreads. I would quess it's inspired by dT's Democracy in America quote, "A democratic government is the only one in which those who vote for a tax can escape the obligation to pay it."
Rings true none the less.
