You should include the part of that snapshot that includes Dobbs running for his life from two Appy St. defenders. Dobbs saw Williams but there was no way he could set his feet and have the time to throw the ball 50+ yards to PW.
I would view UGA/Bama as the comparison to Oregon/USC. We poach one of those and who knows? I'm unhappy as the next guy with some of our coaching decisions so far but as i saw another poster say, Team 119 would wipe the floor with Team 117/118 which to me is progress no matter how you look at it.
Depends on what you classify as "any success", but Jim Harbaugh at Stanford:
2007: 4-8
2008: 5-7
2009: 8-5
2010: 12-1
In my opinion I've always viewed Jones' rebuilding challenge at TN similar to the one that Harbaugh undertook at Stanford.
Imagine if their fanbase grew too...
Dan LeBatard just mentioned that there are "internet rumors" about a college football head coach allegedly "putting his hand on a player". Didn't mention the university, head coach, or player specifically.
For some context - he stated that he didn't know how to handle internet rumors...
Ahhh dang. I was selfishly hoping we'd for sure have him longer than a year. Seems like a potential CP situation where we better appreciate him while he's here because he could be doing it in the NFL next year.
Thank ya sir :hi:
