I love the middle tennessee area, my wife spent some time up in Madison getting her masters degree so I spent a lot of time traveling back and forth. Nice area. GO VOLS!
Your dad sounds like a good man. Actually I was born in east TN (kingsport) moved around the country because my dad was "corporate america" and ended up in Franklin in 1977 and been here ever since. I came to UNA in 85 on a tennis scolarship and quickly lost it in a year due to lack of self discipline. Joined a frat (Pike) and met many great people and graduated on the 5 year plan.
I took a couple of geography classes but cannot remember the teacher and I think they were 100 - 200 level anyway but I enjoyed them. I hate you have to listen to all the Bama stuff down there. Unfortuneately they look pretty strong. What makes you a UT fan in Bama country? Dont get me wrong we are glad to have you but I know it is tough, cause I went through it when I was down there.
Always good to hear from UNA alum. especially when they are vol fans. I am sure UNA is moving in the right direction, it was awesome when I was there. I met a lot of good friends and professors while I was there. Are DR. Crawford and Bud Smith still in the Business school? looks like a long year for us UT fans A lot of Fulmer bashing on talk radio up here.
I saw your message to unalion and wanted to see if he was attending or alumni of UNA but have seen no reply. I graduated from UNA in 1990. Have not been to Florence in a while I bet it has really grown.
