Last two games.

It's sort of been our season really, I mean think about how many games we've won on last second shots.

I think coach P. is great, but I think a little more control and a little less chaos might be in order. I'll say this much...the last few games we seem to lose a lot of guys while switching, leaving them wide open for threes. TH from NC would have eaten our low post guys up today. And for the life of me, I can't figure out why we don't occasionally have CL-O, Tyler, JaJaun, JP and Chism on the floor at the same time, letting Lofton bring the ball up.

Our defense has been horrific the last 2 games. How do u let South Carolina and Arkansas score 90 points?

this team is so far from any JG team. Please don't insult CBP that way

I love CBP. He is the best thing that has happen to the Tennessee Athletic Department and program in a long time. Summit being the other.

This is not an insult. So do not take it that way or spin it that way because it is just the wrong approach.

I am not sure what CBP is doing but I expect he knows what he is doing. He can use this lost as a positive. I see alot of positives from the last two games and do not believe we have dropped off. We now have a low post offense and we did some things defensively I have not seen before. Dropping off of players and not extending the defense is something new. Maybe he expects the offiiciating to be so tight during the tourney that he is experimenting with defenses. There were definitely too many fouls called in this tournament. Vandy, KY, both TN Games. It has been stated that the officiating at the NCAA is very inconsistant. I think what we saw in the SEC tourney is what worst case we can expect in the NCAA tourney.

I expect to be in the final 4 with or without a 1 seed.

Keep in mind we have been playing teams we've already seen this year. We whipped most of them. They were familiar with our style and personnel. The teams were about to face have seen film, but they've never played us.
We'll make it through the first weekend. Might be a tough second game. When we get to the sweet sixteen is when we'll have to decide we want to play some defense or we might get sent packing again.

I get so pissed when we leave those guys wide open for threes. How many threes does the other team have to hit before we start tightening down on them. Yesterday, everytime Arky brought the ball down the court, you just knew that our man was going to get lost in traffic and leave them open for a three. The bad thing about it is that they kept hitting those shots and we continued to leave them open. After about the 3rd time this happened, I think I would at least try to find someone who could stay with their man. If this is the way we are going to play then our only hope is to play teams that are cold from behind the three point line. Why we refuse to get in their face is beyond me. If we would have played defense at all, we would have won that game yesterday. I'm very disappointed that we didn't take advantage of the huge opportunity that was in front of us yesterday. If we don't fix this problem, we won't be going past the 2nd round and all of the great things that we did this season will be tarnished. With all of that said, I think Pearl will find a way to get his athletes to start playing defense.
