How many Nascar fans??

Big E fan and Little E also. Too bad the circuit has become such a national sport. It's roots are in the Carolinas and the south. Too bad we've sold OUR sport out to the rest of the nation.

Don't feel like I'm steeling from you, Don. This west-coaster doesn't care to watch any NASCAR.

wish the rest of the "left Coast"/ country felt that way. Vegas, Cali, Meechigan, Indy and the North East. just on't fit.

I was a big Earnhardt fan, the only option that I had after he passed was pulling for JR. I live where the Kodak (well used to be Kodak) car is produced. I only watch it to get me through to football season though.

What did you think of the movie "3"?

I thought it had a few high spots, but overall was a little hokey.

Actually, the west coast doesn't draw big NASCAR numbers at all. The only area of the country that doesn't. And Vegas folks are a different breed altogether. Don't mind them.

I didn't like it. It is hard to squeeze all of his accomplishments into a 2 hour movie.

Can't make a two hour movie on a 49 year old legend. Not a bad effort though the Earnhardts DID NOT give their approval for it to be made.

i am a nascar fan and i root for tony stewart and sterling marlin.

and don.....usually i tolerate your close minded comments...but your attitude is what gives southerners a bad name. why does nascar have to stay in the south? we all know, as does everybody else, that it originated here, but why, in your opinion, can ti not grow and cover the whole country? instead of being afraid "your" sport is being taken over by non southerners, you should be proud that a deeply southern icon such as nascar has been embraced by the whole country. open your mind, don.

My favorites are in succession: Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Jimmie Johnson, Bobby Labonte, Dale Jarrett. "GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!"
NASCAR season is just around the corner- VROOM, VROOM, VROOM! "Boogity, boogity, boogity!"

when is White history month?

I dunno. I was too busy learning about things like the Islamic plight and all the great things about the NAACP in my overly-liberal west coast public school.

I use to like Nascar. It's waaaaay boring now. Practically all the cars are the same. They are so stiff on their rules. :bad:

The MAN, always and Forever!!!

Guys, you know Dale was great and I was a big fan myself, but DAMN, the man is dead, let the sport move on...it has grown exponentially beyond DE and his greatness, NASCAR is bigger than one driver, bigger than one team...although he was fantastic to watch as he weaved his way around the pack from the back, there were many other great drivers, and had they worn black, we all probably would have loved the others as well...lest we forget Kenny Irwin, Adam Petty, and all of the other drivers who died on the track...honor Dale in death, but, please, he was not and is not the only man on the track, and although he was a great racer, there have been many, and will be many more that will change the sport over thier time as well, just as Peyton will rewrite history in the NFL, so will another driver in NASCAR.
