When CPF talked to the NCAA, it was basically "off the record".

But when BAMA lawyers wanted transcripts of what he told the NCAA investigater, a court ruled that it had to be made public.

HMM? So CPF tells somebody something in private (one person mind you), with the understanding that it would not be made public, only to have it made public due to a court order...

...how is that defamation again?

I had to read this to believe it. I thought you were kidding.

Smith Suit

$480 million??? Isn't that like 30 times what the hot coffee spill ended up costing Mickey-D's? All you have to do is put a number like that in your suit and the court should automatically toss it out, disbar the filing attorney, and deport the suitor to a third-world country whose GNP is less than the amount sought. Like Alabama.

The part I love is the same legal team whose actions resulted in the information becoming public are suing Fulmer because the information was made public! Brilliant! Those same lawyers continually spread the alledged defamatory statements which increases the extent to which the public knows about the alledged relationship. If Gallion wasn't yappin' about it - no one would know about it and thus no defamation would be possible. What a world.
