Rumor has it that the talks are well underway. The closest Floyd has come to being in trouble has been against a punch first defense second close in fighter, in J.L Castillo. There is lots of talk that Castillo is done, but i don't think Hatton beat a washed up Castillo, not a prime Castillo, but he wasn't fighting a washed up man out there.

I would like to see this fight made, and will undoubtably be pulling for my countryman from Manchester. Hatton will not stay away from Mayweather's power and absorb the jab like Oscar did, he will walk through the jab to deliver power punches to the body, much like Castillo did against Mayweather.

I really question whether Ricky can beat Floyd, but the partisan crowd (regardless of where it is, it will be mainly British) I want to see how Floyd will handle 4 or 5 'Mexican Liver Killers" from Hatton.

Neither fighter can use 'years of wars' as an excuse, as Hatton had Kostya Tszyu, and Floyd hasn't had one, maybe the 1st Castillo fight, so that isn't an excuse.

Floyd is the better fighter, but i don't think Ricky will be concerned by that.
