Just saw where Kiper had Meachem going 25th to the Jets, Sears 31st to the Bears and Harrell 32nd to the Colts.

I know this is before the combine so alot can change, but this surprised me a bit. Good for the guys though.

Yeah congrats to them especially Harrell. Wade could go high in the second round if he has a good combine

They are at the borderline situations right now, between lower 1st and 2nd. They all need very solid combine to be 1st rounders, especially Justin Harrell. I think Mel Kiper Jr. is the only one I remember projecting Harrell as a 1st rounder.

i wouldn't be shocked if they all went first round or if none of them went first round

Meachem is pretty much assured of being a 1st rounder. Look at the teams that need reciever help. Titans, Chiefs, Jets, Bears, there's more.

And Calvin Johnson is going to be a top 5 pick, people question Dwayne Jarrett (too much like Mike Williams) and Ted Ginn will go top 10. My best guess at predicting

As a Jets fan I would go for that, although I think they still need DB's and maybe another RB. Saying that Coles, Cotcherry and Meachem would be a handful

Lets not forget a post combine Jonathan Wade. The NFL is going back to smaller corners, with the rules changes, and he's 5'10" which isn't too short at all at that position. I think he can go 1st round.

Kiper isn't the only one that likes Harrell.

Mike Mayock on NFL Network has him as his #3 DT behind only Alan Branch and Amobi Okoye. Lots of people think Harrell could be a good fit as a 3-4 DE. He does need a good workout though, and to prove his injury is healing fine.

I still think Wade is a 2nd/3rd round guy, even with a fast forty. He needs alot of technique work

Wade is impressive because he was a track guy that happened to play a little football and then he really came on strong his last two years here.

I am seeing Rice and Bowe both projected ahead of Meachem. I expect that to change after the combines and he will move ahead of them. I would take Meachem over both of them without question. Ginn and Johnson will go ahead of Meachem though. I don't see the Titans passing on Meachem to take Bowe or Rice like Kiper has in his predictions. I see Meachem going to the Titans.

That's what I am thinking. Meachem is considered by a lot of people here having the best speed among the top receivers (40 under 4.4). Receiver coming to the end, man, is all about 40, I'd love to see a UT star go to Titans, so I would start to go the Titans' game.:). I guess it would be also a good financial deal for Titans.

Another Jets/Vols fan, excellent! I don't see them going WR at all. The Patriot way is typically to develop late-round receivers or find other team's cast-offs. They're going with either an o-lineman or defensive help at any position.

Sears had a very good Senior Bowl and has a shot at 1st round, Jon Wade did not. Pro Scouts said he looked more like an athlete than a football player. Harrell will have to have a great combine to go in the first round. imo

Ginn and Johnson are physical freaks but Meachem, after the combine, should be the 3rd ranked receiver.

And Sears showed his versatility while he was here, can play alll along the line so I would not be suprised to see him late 1st early 2nd round

I'm not NFL teams are too worried about selecting players that would be good financial deals, especially in the first round. If that were the case, the Texans would have drafted Vince Young and the Titans would have taken Jay Cutler...
