Let's not forget that he is a freshman in a position that takes alot of discipline, but no doubt the guy is fast. How worried should we be about him tomorrow? Will a faster SEC defense give him more problems, or is this guy going to be one to watch out for tomorrow?:ermm:

I think our secondary probably has the biggest challenge tomorrow. All Florida's receivers are really fast. Heffney is supposedly a better CB than safety, so he might do OK. Wade will be solid. The rest of the guys will have to really step it up.

I don't think we should be worried about him until he makes us worry about him....If he comes out and does something spectacular then you worry, until then, just worry about going after Chris Leak....Hit Leak 2 or 3 times in the 1st quarter and the boy will be seeing stars the rest of the game

After seeing Harvin against UCF, he's definitely somebody to be watched. They will get the ball in his hands on screens, shovel passes, reverses, end arounds etc. and then just see what happens. He's a major threat.

oh, i thought i read that they moved him back because he wasn't comfortable there and that they were movin Stewart to CB..sorry

If they did they did it today, but there was a half page article in the Tennessean about how the whole team knew that if anyone could make the move on such short notice Hef could.

I dunno. Leak threw all over us his sophomore year. He had trouble last year, but I think that was largely because of Meyer's offense. Meyer has retooled the offense a bit to accommodate Leak's skills. I expect Leak to play well. People on this board tend to think he's a wimp that can't take physical football or handle pressure. I'm sure Gator fans are saying the same thing about Ainge.

Aside from the fact he's a freshman that hasn't come close to facing actual college level competition.......

I can NOT be afraid of ANYONE named Percy.

Percy is a major threat, but this is just another example of everyone puffing up one player on a team. Like I said before the Cal game, there's always someone who's going to run all over the defense and it rarely happens *cough Marshawn Lynch cough*

It's the ones we don't hear about that worry me (like the whole Air Force offense)

I'm not sure why the media is focusing all of their attention on Harvin (except that he's made a lot of highlight film plays thus far).

Baker has been the most reliable receiver for the Gators. Caldwell and Cornelius have been a bit quieter so far, but are both sure-handed and very fast.

In short yardage, TE Cornelius Ingram catches almost everything thrown his way.

While I think that Harvin has the potential to be quite a threat, all of the other players are road-tested and solid, so I'd expect the ball to go their way a bit more on the road in a big game, at least until Harvin proves that he isn't awestruck or distracted by the hostile crowd.

This guy has never EVER been in the atmosphere he is going to be in tomorrow (well today...I CANT SLEEP) i think itll be too much his first MAJOR game. Dont get me wrong the kid is a talent, but im not too worried about him when leak is trying to call audible and PERCY cant hear nothing bc the 107000+ fans CHEER LIKE YOUVE NEVER CHEERED BEFORE TOMORROW. "ITS GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER"

I'm MUCH more worried about Baker and Caldwell than Harvin in the passing game. He seems to be a pretty good run threat for the myth's misdirection game. I guess we'll find out in not so many hours!

i dont think anyone else will either, your trying to plea your case against ucf, if it was a team like auburn or lsu hell even VANDY for that matter then i might give it a lookesy, BUT U C F....his first REAL game is tomorrow so we'll see how the young fella does in NEYLAND with 107000 screaming and the vols defense hitting, not like the guys from ucf or southern miss but SEC HITTING

Explain to me how I've tried to "plea my case for UCF"? I realize the Golden Knights aren't exactly a powerhouse program...

I simply posted a link to his highlights from our last game. I guess we'll all find out tomorrow if Percy can perform in a big SEC game. Well, at least his first. There is no doubt he's going to be an impact player in the future at any level barring injury.

There's no doubt that he's a threat. However, that UCF defense looked sssslllloooowwwww. We'll see how he looks in the SEC. Looks like you all have a good one when it comes to him though.

Welcome to the board by the way.

Thanks. Glad to be here. No more injuries for either team tomorrow. Neither one of us need to get into the rest of our SEC play with any more injuries.

We haven't had one since summer camp (luckily), but the 2 biggest were Demps at LB and Wilson on OL. Demps was a possible starter and Wilson was a starter on O-line.

that clip is one play... not much a a reel. But that is kind of my point in asking is that he is getting so much hype, but in that clip, sure he is fast, but he wouldnt get that on an sec defense, they would be faster and taked better angles.
