Yep, that's exactly what I was getting at. I don't think that JG is perfect QB by any means. He has his flaws, however he has shown that when he has a little bit of time he is good enough to not lose games for us, and if he keeps progressing under Cheney and Weinke he'll be a solid QB.

I would think our OL play would be more important. We don't have to worry about JG if he is protected and has time in the pocket.

No SEC fan here, only TN. Other SEC team's success does nothing to help us, so I'm not pulling for that.

I think the defense will be improved, even if by 1%, that's the goal right er.....I mean sorry. ha. But no we will not have a SB caliber defense but I think we will be much improved on that side of the ball. Might even be able to tackle a RB this year.

After Bajakian left we never had a true QB coach. Nick Sheridan was the closest we had to that, and he was decent. As a GA I feel like he was a better QB coach than Chico was.
