Both teams will play better next week.

But Florida is still rebuilding.

Dang i made this thread before they started playing North Texas.

I said Oline and QB was still a problem for them.

I jinxed the hell out of them.

It's gonna be such an ugly game next week.

Fla looks like absolute hot garbage against North TX and the Mean Green are a truly bad football team.

Fla D is getting pressure but the O is a big yawn.

Both teams UT and Fla have been under whelming. The only possible quality team either has played was VT and they absolutely trounced Boston College today.

It's gonna come down to which team shows up. It's s rivalry game so both teams should show up

Yeah UF only held them to 53 total yards, racked up almost 500 yards of offense and prevented NT to even sniff a score. Garbage or not, UFs defense is top notch. If we play even remotely like we have the first 3 weeks, it will be difficult for us to get points.

Our defense has not really been that disruptive to the QBs. They are going to have to step it up. If this were the Vols of last year, I would be a little more confident. Which team shows up? We have showed everything we have and I highly doubt it scares anyone at this point.

Florida is always better than UT, look at the record

All we can focus on is this year.

That Florida defense is not as good as people think. Houston, Louisville, Ohio State, LSU, Bama, Clemson,Texas A&M, Arkansas all have better defenses.

Losing Del Rio is not going to change much about them offensively.

They're not very good yet. Until they get the QB situation fixed they won't be so.

Virginia Tech can beat this Florida team.

Arkansas and Texas A&M have better defenses than Florida? I laughed. Florid has 4 to 5 future first round picks on defense.

Really who?
This is silly... maybe 3 teams in America have that type of talent.

They don't have 5 NFL players on their defense period.

Maybe we should put Jennings in to run the triple option every now and again. Can't really make the offense much worse

Maybe local radio stations can have a drawing, and the winning fans can be OC and DC for a quarter each game going forward.

And no, you don't get a police escort home after you screw up.

Their talent on that side of the ball is completely legit. Tabor is a scout's dream: Tall, fluid corner who can completely shut down his side of the field - he's probably better than Hargreaves was. Their defense hasn't been legitimately scored on all season. UMass scored their one TD because Florida committed like 50 yards in penalties on their lone scoring drive, and Kentucky scored late against their backups.

They're good, really good.

Nothing more than an average football team. Sure they can beat us, I just don't think they will. 4-0

They haven't been that good for the past three years and some how they we find a way to let them win.

I will turn on Butch if he loses to Florida. Florida is a good team. Tennessee is a better team.

What if the only losses this year, including a new year's day bowl, are FL and Alabama. Is that a failed season? Does he get one more year? To me he does...that's continued improvement and signifies he's putting together a much better team than he inherited.

Don't get me wrong, I can't put up with losses to those guys either. I'm tired of it. It sucks and this year I think it ends starting with FL.

Even if Del Rio isn't great, I still don't like the Callaway-Moseley match-up. Just thinking about it terrifies me. Lets just hope he doesn't change his last name to Cooper....

Del Rio is out and I believe Callaway is too. But that's okay because the backups will be Heisman trophy contenders next Sat.

Don't think Calloway is scratched yet and I believe they expect him to play but he probably won't be 100%

Yeah, pot meet kettle i know.

Here's the one thing ive noticed about our team. We wake up when absolutely must wake up.
All these injuries and inconsistencies. Still making enough plays.

Florida still has problems on the line. And at QB. Del Rio is not a difference maker.

No Kirkland
- Sutton
- Lewis

But we still have Josh Dobbs.

Florida will play their best game of the year this Saturday. If we are not ready it will be 12 in a row.

florida has a bad oline, maybe even worse than UT's. Plus, with QB issues and a banged up callaway, they have no playmakers on O. UT's D should be able to hold them to 10-13.

I hope the players believe they can win instead if listening to everyone telling them they can't go vols
