Ps3 hd

When I got my HD tv my ps3 asked me to change the settings to high def for best quality. Now when i try to play my ps3 on a standard def tv nothing comes on the screen...does anybody know how to fix this problem? thanks

Hold down the power key until you hear a beep. It should then ask you about the settings again. This is from memory so I may have it wrong.

there is also a setting under system settings (i think) on the xmb.

when I hold down the power button it just cuts the ps3 off?

you can change your tv connection settings under network settings, system settings or it may be display settings on the xmb. not sure which without looking at it.

if you have no picture due to hooking back to the standard tv before changing, i would suggest flipping the power switch in the back. that may work...

When powering on, hold your finger over on the power 'button.' If you keep it there for about 5 seconds, it will beep again and redo a video test.

Just an FYI in case anyone else has this problem.
