This is my first time ever trying to do recuiting. I hope I can snag a few decent recruits. :(

the bowen guy at tight end kept snubbing me so i just took him off my board. i think he's a soft commitment to the gators now. i'm still in the lead of a few other top players though. i had the #1 and #5 qbs, plus a few others visit this past weekend and think they enjoyed their visit.

I am having trouble locking down commitments. I have several listing me as number one, but just aren't ready to commit. I think it might be because I got a late start with Auburn, though.

I need to start recruiting lol. I have been really busy and I'm missing weeks of recruiting so I need to get on that late and try and pick up some guys

I was so pissed about my loss that I said "screw recruiting" and just advanced. lol

Just to let you guys know, if you skip recruiting even one week it can really put you back and hurt your in the long run.

you can turn the recruiting assist on to help you land a few guys if you want to, so in a way...yes. i've got mine turned off though. i hate getting guys that i had no interest in. i'd rathar do all the recruiting myself.

Well, if you turn it on to do so it will. Just to let you know, my friend did recruit on his dynasty with UGA in one of his season's and has been playing catch up going on 2 season's now. You need the depth. He had WR's playing DE and RB's playing LB because he skipped recruiting just one season.

The computer just doesn't recruit as well as a person can. They waste their time on talent you have no business going after unless desperate at the end of the season.

For instance, would you waste your time on a two or one star? Probably not. But if you are simulating you probably have half a dozen of them on your board.

i've been ready, but i think mattvols still needs to play. last time i checked he still had his game against vandy. i'm gonna give it until tomorrow night at the latest and then sim his game if he hasn't played already. nothing against him, but we need to keep this thing going at a good pace. this week has turned out to be very slow for how fast we started it out.
