Xbox Live Help

OK, so I just moved into a new apartment on campus and it appears that the internet is not very fast. I played one game today on Madden and it was extremely laggy. I am connecting wirelessly because I don't see how I am going to connect from from xbox(in my room) to the router using an ethernet cable. Is there anything I can do to maximize my internet connection to prevent the incredible lag?

are you sure it wasn't your opponent? I'd play some more just to check.

I messaged him to ask if it was laggy for him and he said no. I'm positive that the internet connection is just weak.

usually college campus's are a horrible place to play games online. my dorm is the same way. it's either extremely laggy, or i'm getting kicked off constantly.

Probably a bunch of people playing WOW. It should speed back up once everyone gets settled in.
