| Oh Noes So I was playing COD4 tonight and towards the end of the game, my XBOX all these vertical green lines showed up (looked like the matrix) and I couldn't see much of anything. I tried to restart and I'm getting 1/4 of the red ring (bottom right corner) and a message saying contact customer support.
Anyone ever dealt with this or know what it is?? |

| Well the first two days I had my Xbox 360, my friend dripped it from his window because it did not turn on for him ( because it was not pluged in) but besides that, My COD4 never have gave me problems.

| OWB, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It happend to me about 6 months ago, & I haven't had the RRoD yet. You could send it in, or just wait until you get the RRoD to send it in. That is what I'm doing. Hopefully I'll never get it. |

I'm pretty busy here at the end of the month anyway.. |

MY 360 still runs perfectly fine. |

Anyone ever dealt with this or know what it is?? | It actually happens to me a couple times a week. I do the towel trick for 10-15 minutes until I get the two overheating flashing lights on the left side, let it cool down and then it's back to normal. Very annoying.
It's been happening for about 4 months. If it would just quit fixing itself, I'd send it in, but I always get it back working relatively easy.
If it's an E74, I think it's a scaler chip problem. If you don't want to do the towel trick, you'll have to send it in, but I've heard that this isn't covered under the 3 year warranty, so you'll probably have to pay for the repairs.
Hope that helps. Good luck.

They will send you an email with the UPS label and all you have to do is print it out and take it to them, then buy the packing materials and your set. Cost me $9.10 at Staples.
