It is possible that it is the scaler chip, but it is also possible that your A/V cable is just screwed up. I would go to Wal-Mart and pick up a new A/V cable and see if that fixes it... if not, take the cable back to Wal-Mart and send the 360 to MS.
I've known of 4 people who's XBOX's have crashed while playing COD4. I can remember them saying that the game was causing some systems to crash. I had the game, but traded it in after 3 people on my friends list had their XBOX crash while playing the game.
Well, it looks like my baby is on it's way home from the Doctor. So Chad, freak, Larkinn, time to get back into GOW. To all my COD4 peeps (too many to list), leave the light on for me. Glancing30 is coming back to kill kill kill.
