I'm going to be finally getting with the program and upgrading from a PS2 to the 360. So you guys will have to instruct me on how to get in on all this Online stuff.

I reluctantly made the switch from PS2 to 360 last year. Even with the RRoD bullcrap, I still got no regets.

First off. Stay far away from VolMania. He'll try to recruit you to the darkside. (PS3)

Secondly. Hit up some people in the gamertag thread. Most of us will gladly help you out.

Like Swil said. Right now most of us are playing Call of Duty 4 & Gears of War. I'd recommend CoD4 first. Gears of War has a huge learning curve.

Going to get the 360 tonite after I get off work....one of the games I'll get tonite is NCAA Football, do you have to pay to go online to DL the rosters?

Pretty much. There are ways to download the rosters and get them to your 360, but they involve quite a bit of trouble, and purchasing adapters.

Pick who you would rather get rosters from (namely Fairdale Kings or PSX and either send them a memory card to put the rosters on or just purchase one direct from them with the rosters preloaded.

Grab COD4, theres usually a few of us on during the week, and sometimes a boatload on the weekends. I'm loving it, the online play never gets old.

13.7 cents a day is pretty cheap, and the online experience is 10x better than PSN.

And honestly, if you're paying 13.7 cents a day for LIVE, you're overpaying. I've never paid that much for LIVE.
