Excitingly, for the first time in Call of Duty's campaign 4-player co-op is supported over Xbox Live - and it supports meta game perks as in CoD4's excellent online mode.

If it makes you feel any better, Infinity Ward is making their own game keeping to the Modern Warfare style.

Treyarch = WWII

Infinity Ward = Modern Warfare

Yeah, I think I would have skipped regardless since Treyarch is doing this round. 2 good things this one has going for it...upgradeable perks and the CoD4 engine. Still doubt I'll be interested enough to pick it up though.

seriously, how many times can WWII be done in video games? it's one of the worst things rehashed in the video game industry. don't get me wrong, WWII was a very interesting time period, but enough is enough.

If it actually does do the war in the Pacific, I may consider buying it, but if it does Europe, I'll just wait for CoD6.

Why would they go away from the format of COD4? That game is one of the best games ever. If it ain't broke....

I think I'll have to pass as well.

I just wish 4 had the co-op... guess I'll have to wait for 6 for some good modern action with co-op mode.

KC...I really like it because I can try games I really wouldn't want to buy...I just finished up Turok..an ok game but wouldn't want to buy...also they give you the option of buying the games at a reduced price...usually the new games are like $45.

What about the civil war? Think COD4 with muskets and cannons and a calvary after you get 5 kills.
