my wii died.

last night i got a new tv, 42 inch hi def. i get home and plug everything up, and plug the wii in(360 is connected to computer). start watching tv and everything is great but then i decide to try playing a little mario kart.

i turn it on the aux it's supposed to be on, and the wii menu is visible but it's black and white...so i turn it off and then it happened, although i'm not sure what happened. the power light wont even come on now, i've tried unplugging and reconnecting every plug on it. i also tried using a new outlet but that didnt work either.

i hear that nintendo customer service is pretty good and usually gets systems back to their customers within a week, but i had just gotten mario kart and hadn't even got to break it in yet. the mario kart disk is still inside my freakin' wii.

Nah, I'll continue to play my 360... She has been asking about a Wii, and she seemed to enjoy it at BestBuy the other day, so maybe that will keep her entertained while I play the big boy games.

Mine went dead like that and I just held in the power button for about 30 sec. and it all came back. It's defiantely worth a try if you haven't already.
