| wireless internet   I have a brand new Lindseys and my laptop has wireless but they will not reconise each other. I am on a lindsys wireless network now but it is unsecured.HELP |

| Fine, go through the setup in the documentation and change your SSID to something other than the default so that you can differentiate it from others around you.
That's a start... |

| i just bought a new linksys router too. it wouldn't connect until i ran the horrid linksys software on my laptop. it also pisses me off it doesn't let you pick your own password. my ps3 connected to it fine though. |

| I called mine roughter fine. I click on roughterfine and it searches for a min and says nothing found. If I click on local linksys and it works. |

| You shouldn't have to run the software. You should be able to use the router's firmware to get it properly set up.
This is why I have an off-brand router. It works perfectly. (Hawking) |
