Yeah - you can pay through the xbox as well with a credit card - but sometimes there are good deals on 1-year membership cards at places.

It really adds a whole new aspect to every game, but especially if you have people to play with - but some games (like FPS are really fun even w/o people you know - but there's always some VN members playing most every game online). I hardly played NCAA '09 anymore until I joined the Online Dynasty... now I can't wait for each week to be advanced.

just run an ethernet cable from the back of your 360 to your router/jack/modem or whatever you have like bassman said and you're set to go. there's a silver account and a gold account. just logging in and being online is and being able to check out the content available on live is the silver (which is free). the gold account is actually where you are able to play games in multiplayer and its what costs money. just go out and buy a pre-paid card xbox live gold membership card for 1 or 3 months and see if you like it. it's worth the money IMHO.

The first three silver accounts on your xbox 360 come with a free month of gold.

Bump - anyone else interested? And what type would you prefer? No restrictions? All in a major conference? All underdog/small school teams in the same conference? Several big name conferences but having atleast a few humans in each? etc
