| So will the PS3 and Xbox 360 games be pretty much identical except for the cover this year? |

| One of my friends and I both decided if they can't put 2 basic things in the game this year, we won't be buying it. I want refs and post game celebrations. For goodness sakes, get the basic parts of the game put in before you try to come out with "cool new features". Year 1 they had an excuse, last year they didn't. This year there is definitely no reason not to make significant leaps with this game.

| btw, i put in 08 this weekend to kill some time and try to get a couple of achievements i had put a lot of time into. Of course, they didn't give them to me. They were "accept a BCS conference invite" and "Turn a 1 star into a 6 star program". I did both of these through playing through 5 years of dynasty mode, and I had to play almost all of it because the team wasn't good enough to sim and win. Did anyone else have problems with bugs like this? That is something that needs to be fixed with 09 as well. And I had forgotten how incredibly laggy the game was with everything, menus, different screens, depth chart scrolling, etc.

| Yeah, change the depth charts back to the way they had it on the XBOX. The new one took about 3 minutes just to put in guys you wanted. |

| Also, I don't think last years game had the package substitutions like....spell HB etc....I could be mistaken though I haven't played it in a while. |

| I'm pretty sure it has package subs. Formation subs are missing though.

I hope they add that. The game play was awesome last year, they just need to add the little things that go along with it. |

| Package subs are where you can put in a CB for a WR (there are others I know--just an example) when you are choosing a play. Formation subs are very similar to this, except you can move any player to any position, and keep it saved that way.

| The depth charts were absolutely horrible in 08. One problem that has plagued me since getting the game is the depth chart settings going back to default. I would set them the way I wanted them, save the game, and then after I turn the console back on the next time I play the depth chart goes back to the way it was before I set it. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Has anyone else had a problem with this? | Yeah, the problem is that whenever you edit a player, the whole depth chart for that team resets. Like if I want to move Berry from CB to SS and give him a visor or something, it resets. I'm not sure how the dev's don't notice glitches like that before release.
